How does it work?

Pick a competition, answer its skill question, then buy one or more tickets. Payment is taken at the time of entry — if your answer was correct, you're in the draw. Once every ticket for a competition has sold, the winning ticket is drawn live on our website at 9:00pm.

Question 2

How do I get paid if I win?

Accepted Answer

We'll email and call you using the details on your ticket to confirm how you'd like to be paid — bank transfer, PayPal, or credited straight to your Cash Comp wallet balance, which you can spend on tickets or withdraw whenever you like. Once confirmed, the prize is sent directly to you.

Is this really skill-based, or just down to luck?

It's skill-based — UK gambling law requires a genuine skill element for a paid-entry prize competition, which is why every ticket requires a correct answer to a skill question. Get it wrong and that entry isn't added to the draw.

Can I enter for free?

Yes. A free postal entry route is available for every competition, with exactly the same odds as a paid ticket — see cashcomp.co.uk/free-entry for how to send one in.

Question 5

When exactly is the draw?

Accepted Answer

At 9:00pm UK time on the day a competition sells out (or the next day, if it sells out after 9pm) — there's no fixed date otherwise, since it depends entirely on how quickly that competition sells out. Anyone holding a ticket gets a reminder email at 6pm on draw day. Sold-out and in-progress draws both show on the Live Draw page.

Who can enter?

Residents of the UK aged 18 or over only, except Northern Ireland. Employees of cashcomp.co.uk, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected to a competition can't enter.
